A Letter From Our Founder
Thank you for considering Woods Law Group. I know the decision and process to find and hire an attorney can be difficult. I know because I have been in that position several times myself. When you hire an attorney, you’re putting your trust in someone else to protect some of the most important things in your life: your family and your money. That’s why choosing the right attorney is so crucial.
To give you an idea of how and why Woods Law Group was founded, I’ll share a little about my background. Before I became an attorney, I was operations manager of a third-generation family construction business. When we encountered problems that required legal representation, I was the client looking for a competent, understanding attorney. I was surprised and disheartened at how hard it was to find a good attorney – one who cared enough to invest the time and effort to properly understand our family’s business and concerns. My repeated frustration turned into motivation to study law myself so that I could become the attorney I always wished we had for our family business.
I made the decision to attend law school at Arizona State University. After graduating, I was fortunate to work with and learn from many seasoned, knowledgeable attorneys at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, then a multi-national franchising corporation, and finally a large regional law firm located in Tempe. Eventually, equipped with my education, experience, and my goal in mind to provide the kind of service I always sought, I set off to build my own practice.
